Holy moly, have I got some good news! This week has been cray-cray, but it’s also been one of the best weeks of my life!

We screened our film at THE CHINESE THEATER in Hollywood as part of the Beverly Hills Film Festival!

When I was little, I used to watch ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ on repeat with my Abuelo. At the beginning of the film, when Lina Lamont and Don Lockwood would go to their premiere at The Chinese Theater, I’d go nuts. To have been able to see my work up there in that same theater, work that I did with people who inspire the shit out of me  was something that I can’t explain. It was a bucket list moment for sure.

We felt so fortunate to just be included in this festival, but THEN…. WE WON BEST SHORT FILM! Ahhhh!! I still can’t believe it! Getting to work under my dear Gabrielle Stone (who has been cleaning up with awards ps.) and Roze (badass extraordinaire) , and with the incomparable Jayson Crothers, and have this film also be recognized- makes me feel like the luckiest girl on the planet.

Domestic Violence is an issue near to my heart, and an issue that should not be taken lightly. To have touched even one person with this powerful film means more than any award ever could.

You guys, I’m just a ball of love today, and I cannot wait until this film is released so I can share it with all of you.

I love you so much!!!
